Students doing an activity in the STREAM labThe Kersey Creek STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math) lab gives students another place to create, think, and grow. In the STREAM lab, students participate in activities designed to help foster creativity, develop communication, and practice meaningful collaboration. The STREAM lab activities use a child’s natural curiosity to develop a passion for problem-solving. In the lab, students can tinker with a variety of levels of coding (from robots like Blue-Bots to a 3-D printer), invent something new with LittleBits, Makey Makeys or squishy circuits, and learn analytic thinking skills as they “play” with design and build challenges. Our lab is a living creature, changing and growing to meet our students’ needs. We thank our donors and sponsors for their continued support.
