Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Kersey Creek Elementary, Home of the Comets!
After 29 years of helping children learn, grow and achieve at high levels, I’m still fascinated by the uniqueness and creativity of each and every student. This year, I am looking forward to meeting new Comets and building stronger relationships with our current Comets. Our amazing staff will collaborate to provide engaging learning experiences for our Comets to continue empowering our students to become confident learners.
I am grateful and humbled to serve such an involved community that cares deeply about the success of our school as evidenced by your volunteerism and support. Your continued partnership and support are welcome as we embark on the great school year ahead.
At Kersey Creek, we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students where everyone feels a sense of belonging. This will be our fourth year of implementation of the House System, where we work to model and instill Respect, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Kindness, Empathy, and Integrity in our Comets. Students are recognized for exemplifying these character traits across our school community. We believe that developing these traits in our students will have a positive impact on their growth and success for years to come.
