Greetings!
Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year! I’m looking forward to another great year of collaborating to support our teachers and staff in providing engaging learning experiences for our Comets! It warms my heart to serve such an involved and supportive community that cares deeply about the success of our school. I welcome your support and partnership as we continue to focus on meeting our students where they are and ensuring high levels of academic and social development for all students.
At Kersey, we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Through our House System, we work to intentionally instill respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, kindness, empathy, and integrity in our Comets. Students are encouraged and recognized for exemplifying these character traits across our school community. We believe that developing these traits in our students will have a positive impact on their growth and success for years to come.
As principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your feedback. Please feel free to email me, or call (804) 723-3440 to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help move our school forward!
Please be sure you are signed up on ParentSquare to receive messages from Hanover County Public Schools and our weekly Comet Connection to stay informed of all the great things happening in our school community.
