Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Kersey Creek Elementary. We are the proud home to over 700 Comets!
It brings me joy to continue my amazing journey with the Kersey Creek Elementary School community. It is a privilege to work alongside such thoughtful professional educators who take pride in collaboration and continuous learning to improve student learning outcomes and progress. Our school continues to be a place where we meet each student where they are while building positive relationships to help them reach their full potential.
At Kersey Creek, we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students where everyone feels a sense of belonging. We are entering our fifth year of implementation of the House System, where we work to model and instill Respect, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Kindness, Empathy, and Integrity in our Comets. Students are recognized for exemplifying these character traits across our school community. We believe that developing these traits in our students will have a positive impact on their growth and success for years to come.
This year is going to be extra special as we celebrate the 20th year of our amazing school. We will reflect on our great past while looking ahead to how we will move forward with purpose and intention to ensure all of our Comets achieve at high levels.
